न ही अपने
सद्य:जात शिशु का भक्षण...!
वहीं...कुम्भ पर
कछुवा और खरगोश का चित्र
साधक को साधना की विधि बता
सचेत करा रहा है।
कछुवा धीमी अपनी चाल चलता
समय के भीतर लक्ष्य तक जा चुका है,
और
खरगोश धावमान होकर भी
बहुत पीछे रह चुका है
कारण विदित ही है-
एक की गति अविरल थी
एक ने पथ में निद्रा ली थी,
प्रमाद पथिक का परम शत्रु है।
अब दर्शक को दर्शन होता है-
कुम्भ के मुखमण्डल पर
‘ही' और 'भी' इन दो अक्षरों का।
ये दोनों बीजाक्षर हैं,
अपने-अपने दर्शन का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हैं।
‘ही' एकान्तवाद का समर्थक है
'भी' अनेकान्त, स्याद्वाद का प्रतीक।
हम ही सब कुछ हैं
यूँ कहता है ‘ही' सदा,
तुम तो तुच्छ, कुछ नहीं हो!
और,
'भी' का कहना है कि
हम भी हैं
Nor does he eat up
His newly-born cub...!
Exactly there...upon the pitcher
The depiction of the tortoise and the hare
Is serving a note of caution
By telling the method of devotion to the devotee.
The tortoise moving on with its slow gait
Has attained its goal within time,
And
The hare – despite taking a run,
Legged much behind;
The reason is well-known indeed –
The gait of the one was without any hindrance
The other one had slumbered on its way,
Negligence is the formidable foe of the wayfarer.
Now the on-looker beholds-
Upon the facial disc of the pitcher
The two syllables- Hi, i. e., only’ and ‘bhi i.e., ‘also’
Both of these are the prime syllables or code characters They represent their own respective philosophies."Hi', that is, 'only' is the vindicator of the doctrine of Absolutism, Bhi, that is, ‘also' is symbolic of ‘Anekānta' and Syādvāda’-
That is, Relative ‘Pluralism’ and ‘Assertion of Probability,’ Hi, that is, 'only' always advocates thus –
We, and only we alone are all in all,
You are insignificant, nothing !
And ‘bhī that is, ‘also' asserts that
We, too, are there
