कभी नहीं करता सिंह!
जब कि
स्वामी के पीछे-पीछे पूँछ हिलाता
श्वान फिरता है एक रोटी के लिए।
सिंह के गले में पट्टा बँध नहीं सकता
किसी कारण वश
बन्धन को प्राप्त हुआ सिंह
पिंजड़े में भी
बिना पट्टा ही घूमता रहता है,
उस समय उसकी पूँछ
ऊपर उठी तनी रहती है
अपनी स्वतन्त्रता-स्वाभिमान को
कभी किसी भाँति
आँच आने नहीं देता वह!
और श्वान
स्वतन्त्रता का मूल्य नहीं समझता,
पराधीनता-दीनता वह
श्वान को चुभती नहीं कभी,
श्वान के गले में जंजीर भी
आभरण का रूप धारण करती है।
एक और विशेष बात है कि
श्वान को पत्थर मारने से
पत्थर को ही पकड़ कर काटता है
मारक को नहीं !
परन्तु
सिंह विवेक से काम लेता है।
सही कारण की ओर ही
सदा दृष्टि जाती है सिंह की,
मारक के ऊपर मार करता है वह।
Is never adopted by the lion !
When
While swinging the tail behind his owner
The dog trails for a loaf of bread.
A belt can't be tied around a lion's neck,
Due to some reason
A lion, put behind the bars,
Keeps loitering without a belt, indeed,
Even inside the cage
In that period, his tail
Remains straightened up, backwards
He never allows his liberty and self-respect
To be injured
In any way!
And a dog
Doesn't know the value of freedom,
The slavery and humiliation
Doesn't ever pinch a dog,
Even the chain around the throat of the dog
Holds the form of an embellishment.
Moreover, the special point is that
The dog when stoned at
Bites the very stone on seizing upon it
And not the stone-pelter !
But
The lion applies his commonsense,
The lion's insight always
Catches at the genuine cause...indeed…
He hits back upon the killer.
