३६ के आगे
एक और तीन की संख्या जुड़ जाती है,
कुल मिलाकर
तीन सौ त्रेसठ मतों का उद्भव होता है
जो परस्पर एक-दूसरे के
खून के प्यासे होते हैं
जिनका दर्शन सुलभ है
आज इस धरती पर !
कुम्भ पर हुआ वह
सिंह और श्वान का चित्रण भी
बिना बोले ही सन्देश दे रहा है-
दोनों की जीवनचर्या-चाल
परस्पर विपरीत है।
पीछे से, कभी किसी पर
धावा नहीं बोलता सिंह,
गरज के बिना गरजता भी नहीं,
और
बिना गरजे
किसी पर बरसता भी नहीं-
यानी
मायाचार से दूर रहता है सिंह।
परन्तु, श्वान सदा
पीठ-पीछे से जा काटता है,
बिना प्रयोजन जब कभी भौंकता भी है।
जीवन-सामग्री हेतु
दीनता की उपासना

In sum total
Three hundred and sixty three creeds are originated
Which are at daggers drawn
With each other,
Whose views are commonplace
Around this earth to-day!
The depiction of lion and dog too
Is marked upon that pitcher
It is imparting its message without giving its
tongue indeed –
The life-style and daily routine of the both of them
Is opposite to each other.
The lion doesn't make an assault On anybody
stealthily, He doesn't roar without his concern too,
And
Without a gnarl
Doesn't browbeat too in anger upon anybody -
That is
The lion keeps himself away from any Fraudulence.
But the dog often pounces upon
To bite from behind,
Every now and then, even barks uncalled-for.
