न ही चलाता पर को
काल निष्क्रिय है ना
क्रय-विक्रय से परे है वह।
अनन्त-काल से काल
एक ही स्थान पर आसीन है
पर के प्रति उदासीन...!
तथापि
इस भाँति काल का उपस्थित रहना
यहाँ पर
प्रत्येक कार्य के लिए अनिवार्य है; परस्पर यह
निमित्त-नैमित्तिक सम्बन्ध जो रहा!
मान-घमण्ड से अछूती माटी
पिण्ड से पिण्ड छुड़ाती हुई
कुम्भ के रूप में ढलती है
कुम्भाकार धरती है
धृति के साथ धरती के ऊपर उठ रही है।
वैसे,
निरन्तर सामान्य रूप से
वस्तु की यात्रा चलती रहती है
अबाधित अपनी गति के साथ,
फिर भी विशेष रूप से
विकास के क्रम तब उठते हैं
जब मति साथ देती है
जो मान से विमुख होती है,
और
विनाश के क्रम तब जुटते हैं
जब रति साथ देती है
जो मान में प्रमुख होती है
उत्थान-पतन का यही आमुख है।
Nor does he make the other move on.
- The Time is inactive, indeed!
It is beyond the reach of buying and selling.
Since time immemorial, the Time
Is seated on one and the same place
Neutral to everything remote...!
Even then
In this manner, the presence of Time
Here-at
Is inevitable for every affair; mutually It represents the relationship of the efficient cause and effect !
Untouched by prestige and pride, the Soil
Getting itself rescued from the roundish lump
Is moulded into the form of a holy pitcher
Assumes the pitcher-shaped appearance,
Is rising up above the earth with steadiness.
Like that,
In an ordinary manner, for ever,
The journey of things goes on
With its uninterrupted motion
Despite it, in special manner,
The dimensions of development arise
When goes hand in hand with them
The intellect, which is opposed to pride,
And
The phases of destruction confront us
When is extended the hand of sensuousness
Which is outstanding in exciting pride,
This is indeed a prelude to rise and fall.
