    उसके उपयोग में

    आकृत होता है कुम्भ का आकार।

    प्रासंगिक-प्राकृत हुआ,

    ज्ञान ज्ञेयाकार हुआ,

    और ध्यान ध्येयाकार !                                                                

     

    मन का अनुकरण तन भी करता है,

    कुम्भकार के उभय कर

    कुम्भाकार हुए,

    प्राथमिक छुवन हुआ

    माटी के भीतर अपूर्व पुलकन

    आत्मीयता का अथ-सा लगा।

    लो, रह-रह कर

    तरह-तरह की माटी की मंजुल छवियाँ

    उभर-उभर कर ऊपर आ रहीं,

    क्रम-क्रम से तरंग-क्रम से

    रहस्य के घूँघट में निहित थीं

    ...जो चिर से!

     

    रहस्य की घूँघट का उद्घाटन

    पुरुषार्थ के हाथ में है

    रहस्य को सूंघने की कड़ी प्यास

    उसे ही लगती है जो भोक्ता

    संवेदन-शील होता है,

    यह काल का कार्य नहीं है,

     

    जिसके निकट-पास

    करण यानी कर नहीं होता है

    वह पर का कुछ न करता, न कराता।

    जिसके पास

    चरण-चर नहीं होता है

    वह स्वयं न चलता पद भर भी                                                    

     

    Into his functional consciousness

    The figure of the holy pitcher (Kumbha) takes shape.

    The incidental became the natural, The cognizance merged into the form of the cognizable, The meditation merged into the form of the meditative !

     

    The body too imitates the mind,

    Both the hands of the pitcher-maker

    Turned into the pitcher-like shape,

    The preliminary touch took place

    An unforeseen thrill, the beginning of intimacy

    Was perceived within the Soil.

    Lo, gradually

    Little by little, in a wave-like serial,

    Making their appearance in various forms,

    Sprang up the charming beauties of the Soil

    Which were hidden behind a veil of mystery

    ...Since long !

     

    The opening of the veil of mystery

    Is in the hands of the supreme manhood (puruṣārtha)

    The stern thirst to smell a secret

    Pinches only that very experienced one

    Who is sensitive,

    It is not an act of the Time,

     

    The one, who doesn't possess

    A hand, that is, an instrument of action

    Neither acts upon the other, nor does get it Actuated.

    The one who doesn't possess

    A traveling foot

    Neither moves on himself even a step
