‘‘सृ धातु गति के अर्थ में आती है,
सं यानी समीचीन
सार यानी सरकना...
जो सम्यक् सरकता है
वह संसार कहलाता है।
काल स्वयं चक्र नहीं है
संसार-चक्र का चालक होता है वह
यही कारण है कि
उपचार से काल को चक्र कहते हैं
इसी का यह परिणाम है कि
चार गतियों, चौरासी लाख योनियों में
चक्कर खाती आ रही हूँ।
लो, आपने कुलाल-चक्र पर
और रख दी इसे
कैसा चक्कर आ रहा है
घूम रहा है माथा इसका
उतार दो...इसे...तार दो!"
फिर से उत्तर के रूप में
माटी को समझाती हुई
शिल्पी की मुद्रा :
“चक्र अनेक-विध हुआ करते हैं
संसार का चक्र वह है जो
राग-रोष आदि वैभाविक
अध्यवसान का कारण है;
चक्री का चक्र वह है जो
भौतिक जीवन के
अवसान का कारण है,
परन्तु
“ The root Sr' is used in the sense of motion,
‘Sam', that is, ‘proper’
‘Sāra', that is, to proceed'...
That which proceeds properly
Is called ‘the world' [ that is, samsāra).
The time itself is not the wheel
It is the motive-force behind the wheel of the world,
That is the reason why
In conventional usage, the ‘Time’ is called the ‘Wheel' The outcome of it, indeed, is that I have been whirling round into “The four life-cycles of births and deaths
And, the eighty four lacs forms of existence.
Lo, you have placed it now
Over the potter's wheel too!
What a swirling motion,
Its head is reeling !
Bring it down...let it...be saved!”
Again, in the form of a reply,
Awakening the understanding of the Soil,
The posture of the Artisan :
“ The wheels represent various types
‘ The wheel of the world’ 44b is the one which
Is the cause of passions and anger etc. -
-The exertions of the ill-sentiments ; due to Ignorance
An emperor's disc-weapon is that which
Is the cause of destruction’
