किस लय में रीत जाते हैं ?

किस लय में गीत गाते हैं...?”
अर्थ और परमार्थ की सूक्ष्मता
कुछ और उजाले में लाई जाती है :
‘‘अन्तिम भाग, बाल का भार भी
जिस तुला में तुलता है
वह कोयले की तुला नहीं साधारण-सी,
सोने की तुला कहलाती है असाधारण! सोना
तो तुलता है
सो...अतुलनीय नहीं है
और..
तुला कभी तुलती नहीं है।
सो...अतुलनीय रही है
और
परमार्थ तुलता नहीं कभी
...अर्थ की तुला में
अर्थ को तुला बनाना
अर्थशास्त्र का अर्थ ही नहीं जानना है
और
सभी अनर्थों के गर्त में
युग को ढकेलना है।
अर्थशास्त्री को यह अर्थ क्या ज्ञात है?"
इस प्रसंग में ‘स्वर' का
स्मरण तक नहीं हो सका
यूँ दबे-मुख से निकले
शृंगार के कुछ स्वर!
स्वर को भास्वर ईश्वर की उपमा मिली है।
‘‘ईश्वर ने भी स्वर को अपनाया
Fall vacant into what cadence ?
In what rhythm do these sprouts
Sing a song, and for what reason...?"
Some more light is thrown on the
fineness of the wealth and the most Sublime Truth:
“ The balance in which the last particle,
Even the weight of a hair is weighed
Is not an ordinary balance for coal,
It is called an extra-ordinary balance for gold !
The gold indeed is weighed
Hence...it is not inestimable
And
The balance itself is never weighed
So...it has been matchless,
And
The most Sublime Truth can never be weighed
Upon the scale of money !
The usage of wealth as a balance
Is to deny the very meaning of economics
And
It really means to push the Age
Into the blind-pit of all the absurdities.
Does an economist know this purport ? "
