अन्धों विषयान्धों को
प्रकाश की गन्ध कब मिलेगी भगवन्?
यूँ दीर्घ-श्वास लेता शिल्पी।
फिर सम्बोधन के उभरते स्वर-
‘‘जो अरस का रसिक रहा है
उसे रस में से रस आये कहाँ ?
जो अपरस का परस करता है
परस का परस क्या वह चाहेगा ?
और
सुरभि दुरभि से जो दूर रहा है
उसकी नासा वह
किस सौरभ की उपासना करेगी ?
दूसरी बात यह है कि
तन मिलता है तन-धारी को
सुरूप या कुरूप,
सुरूप वाला रूप में और निखार
कुरूप वाला रूप में सुधार
लाने का प्रयास करता है
आभरण-आभूषणों श्रृंगारों से
परन्तु
जिसे रूप की प्यास नहीं है,
अरूप की आस लगी हो
उसे क्या प्रयोजन जड़ श्रृंगारों से !
रस-रसायन की यह
ललक और चखन
पर-परायन की यह
परख और लखन
कब से चल रही है
यह उपासना वासना की ?
O God ! when shall the blind and the lust-blind
Get the fragrance of the divine flame ?
- The Artisan, thus taking a deep breath !
- Appeared again the words of discourse -
“ The one who has been the lover of the
tasteless -Soul -
How shall he relish the passions or
(sensual pleasures)?
The one who touches the 'Untouchable'
Shall he like to desire a pleasant touch ?
And
The One who avoided good or bad smell-
What fragrance would be adored
By his nose ?
One thing more, that
An embodiment attains a body
Whether it is elegant or ugly,
The elegant tries to bring added brilliance to its beauty
While the grotesque tries to reform its deformity
Through adornments, ornaments and decorations.
But
For the one who is not thirsty for beauty,
Who is hopeful for the incorporeal,
What concern does prevail upon him
For the senseless material decorations !
This longing for and the tasting of
The flavour and chemicals,
This testing and seeing
Through dependence upon the alien elements
Since what a time by-gone is going on
This adoration of lustfulness ?
