उलटी स्थिति उभरती है
शिल्पी की मति बिगड़ती है
भीतर से बाहर, बाहर से भीतर
एक साथ, सात-सात हाथ के
सात-सात हाथी आ-जा सकते
इतना बड़ा गुफा-सम
महासत्ता के महाभयानक
मुख खुला है
जिसकी दाढ़-जबाड़ में
सिन्दूरी आँखों वाला बाहर
बार-बार घूर रहा है भय
जिसके मुख से अध-निकली लोहित रसना
लटक रही है
और
जिससे टपक रही है लार
लाल-लाल लहू की बूंदें-सी
अगम-अतल पाताल-सम
...उस मुख में
दृष्टि फिसलती-फिसलती लुप्त हुई मेरी
पद फिसलते-फिसलते टिक गये
...तीर पर मेरे
और
प्राण निकलते-निकलते रुक गये
...पीर पर मेरे
आँखों में चक्कर आ गया
उसने मुझे देखा …
कुछ धुंधला-सा दिखा मुझे भी
वह भय! हाँ भय!! महाभय!!!
