सदा-सदा के लिए
क्रय-विक्रय से मुक्त
अव्यय अवस्था पाती है, माँ ! "
और
मौन अपने में डूबता है।
‘‘अरे मौन! सुन ले जरा
कोरी आस्था की बात मत कर तू
आस्था से बात कर ले जरा!"
यूँ माटी की आस्था ने ललकारा
मौन को, जो सम्मुख खड़ा है।
‘‘मैं पाप से मौन हूँ
तू आस्था से मौन,
पाप के अतिरिक्त-
सबसे रिक्त है तू!
आँखों की पकड़ में आशा आ सकती है
परन्तु
आस्था का दर्शन आस्था से ही संभव है।
न आँखों से, न आशा से।
नींव की सृष्टि वह
पुण्यापुण्य से रची इस
चर्म-दृष्टि में नहीं
अपितु
आस्था की धर्म-दृष्टि में ही
उतर कर आ सकती है।”
बाहर आई आस्था माटी की वह
गहरी मति में लौटती हुई
मुड़ कर मौन को निहारती-सी
थोड़ी लाल भी हो आई उसकी आँखें !
Of the establishment of ‘Supreme Soul'
- Of entity, knowledge and joy-
Free from buying and selling for ever.
And
The Silence immerses within itself.
"O Silence ! give a bit of thy ear to me
Don't thou talk of blank faith
Hold some discourse with Right Faith !
"Thus challenges the Faith of the Soil
To Silence, which stands face to face.
"I am mum due to sin
Thou art mum due to Faith,
Except sin -
Thou art vacant from everything else !
The hope may come within the reach of the eyes
But -
Only Faith begets Faith -
The true vision of Faith is possible
Neither through the eyes nor through the expectations.
That fundamental formation
Can be perceived
Not through the corporeal eye
Based on meritorious or sinful deeds
But
Through the Spiritual eye of Faith."
Out came that Faith of the Soil
Retreating into a deeper understanding,
Her eyes looked a bit reddish too
While turning round, as if staring at the Silence !
