स्व-पर-दुःख-निवारिणी
संजीवनी बटी...!
चलना, अनुचित चलना
और कुचलना-
ये तीन बातें हैं।
प्रसंग चल रहा है कुचलने का
कुचली जाएगी माँ माटी...।
फिर भला
क्या कहूँ, क्यों कहूँ
किस विधि कहूँ पदों को ?
और, गम्भीर होती है रसना।
महकती इस दुर्गन्ध को
शिल्पी की नासा ने भी
अपना भोजन बना लिया
तभी..तो
माटी को कुचलने
अनुमति प्रेषित नहीं करती वह
इस घृणित कार्य की निन्दा ही करती है,
और
थोड़ी-सी अपने को मरोड़ती,
फूलती-सी नासा
पदों का पूरा समर्थन करती है
कि
पदों का इस कार्य से विराम लेना
न्यायोचित है और पदोचित भी!
बाल-भानु की भाँति
विशाल-भाल की स्वर्णाभा को
And
There is found sense in that person's utterances
Which redress the pains of his own ‘self’ and
those of the others
Like life-giving pills...!
To go on, to move on wrongfully,
And to trample -
There are these three ways.
The point under reference is that of trampling
The Mother-Earth shall be crushed under foot...!
Well, then,
What should be said and why ?
How should the feet be addressed to ?
And, the tongue assumes graveness.
The nose of the Artisan too
Took this spreading bad smell
As its foodstuff
That is...why...
It doesn't allow the Soil
To be trampled under foot,
It only condemns this hateful deed,
And
Twisting itself a little,
Getting the nostrils puffed up, the nose
Fully supports the footsteps
That
The abstaining of the footsteps from this work
Is justified and according to their dignity also !
The golden lustre of the broad fore-head
Like that of the rising sun-
