प्रेषित करती रहतीं
पर, पर क्या
इस नासा में वह
कहाँ आस जगा पातीं ?
विस्मित लोचन वाली
सस्मित अधरों वाली वह
इन लोचनों तक
कुछ मादकता, कुछ स्वादकता
सरपट सरकाती रहती हैं
हाव-भाव-भंगों में
नाच नाचती रहती हैं
हमारे सम्मुख सदा सलील!
प्रायः यही देखा गया है
कि
ललाम चाम वाले
वाम-चाल वाले होते हैं
बाहर से कुछ
विमल-कोमल रोम वाले होते हैं
और
भीतर से कुछ
समल-कठोर कौम वाले होते हैं
लोक-ख्याति तो यही है
कि
कामदेव का आयुध फूल होता है
और
महादेव का आयुध शूल
एक में पराग है
सघन राग है
जिस का फल संसार मिलता है।
Is communicated by them,
But, but do they
Succeed in awakening hope
Within these nostrils ?
Having wonder-struck eyes,
Having smiling lips,
They push on rapidly
Some fascination, some deliciousness
Upto these eyes,
They keep on dancing sportively
In front of us, always
In coquettish manner, with graceful motions!
Generally it has been found
That
Those, having lovely skins,
Are used to show crooked moves,
Appear from outside
Having some clean and soft bristles
And
Appear from inside
Bearing some impure rough tribe.
Indeed, the universal opinion goes
That
The weapon of the Cupid is Flower
And
The weapon of Lord Siva is Trident.
There is pollen in the one
The dense passion is there -
The fruit of which is worldliness.
