दानवता में दानवत्ता
पली थी कब वह ?
“वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्”
इस व्यक्तित्व का दर्शन-
स्वाद-महसूस
इन आँखों को
सुलभ नहीं रहा अब...!
यदि वह सुलभ भी है।
तो भारत में नहीं,
महा-भारत में देखो !
भारत में दर्शन स्वारथ का होता है।
हाँ-हाँ।
इतना अवश्य परिवर्तन हुआ है।
कि
“वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्”
इसका आधुनिकीकरण हुआ है।
‘वसु' यानी धन-द्रव्य
‘धा' यानी धारण करना
आज
धन ही कुटुम्ब बन गया है
धन ही मुकुट बन गया है जीवन का।
अब मछली कहती है माटी को-
‘‘कुछ तुम भी कहो, माँ!
कुछ और खोल दो।
इसी विषय को, माँ!'
सो मछली की प्रार्थना पर
माटी कुछ सार के रूप में कहती है, कि
“सुनो बेटा!
यही
कलियुग की सही पहचान है।
When has the demonocracy
Cherished that charity ?
“Vasudhaiva kutumbakam”, that is,
‘The whole of the world is like a family’ -
The vision and taste-sense
Of such individuality
Has not remained feasible, now,
To these eyes...!
If it's easily obtainable at all
Then, not in Bharat - India -
Seek it through the Mahābhārata !’
In India, selfishness visibly prevails.
Yes, o yes !
This much of change has surely occurred
That
"Vasudhaiva kutumbakam”, That is,
The whole of the world is like a family’ -
This maxim has been modernized;
‘Vasu’, that is, the ‘money-matter', “
‘Dha’, that is ‘to hold’
The money, chiefly, has become
the family-affair to-day-
The wealth has really become the crown of life.
Now, the fish addresses the Earth -
“You too, Mother ! tell something,
Let this topic be elucidated
By you, O Mother !”
So, on request by the fish,
The Earth utters something as a gist -
“Listen, my child !
This very thing
Is the true identity of Kaliyuga- the Modern Age
