मछली की भूल का
भंजन...
चूर हुआ दुःख का।
एक दृश्य दर्शित होता है।
उपाश्रम के प्रांगण में :
गुरुतम भाजन है,
जिसके मुख पर
वस्त्र बँधा है।
साफ-सुथरा खादी का
दोहरा किया हुआ
और
उसी ओर बढ़ता है कुम्भकार
बालटी ले हाथ में।
बड़ी सावधानी से धार बाँध कर
जल छानता है वह
धीरे-धीरे जल छनता है,
इतने में ही
शिल्पी की दृष्टि
थोड़ी-सी फिसल जाती है अन्यत्र।
उछलने को मचलती-सी
यह मछली
बालटी में से उछलती है।
और
जा कर गिरती है।
माटी के पावन चरणों में...!
फिर
फूट-फूट कर रोती है।
उसकी आँखें
संवेदना से भर जाती हैं।
The demolition...
Of the error of the fish
The afflictions were shattered.
A scene manifests itself
Inside the courtyard of the hermitage :
There is a heavy vessel,
Whose mouth
Is tightened
With a neat and clean
Doubled piece of hand-woven cloth
And
The Artisan proceeds towards it
Holding a bucket in hand.
Observing utmost care, keeping up the flow,
He filters the water
The water is filtered slowly,
In the mean time
The sight of the Artisan
Slips a bit in some different direction.
Persisting in jumping up,
This fish
Takes a leap from inside the bucket
And
Gets itself thrown
Upon the holy feet of the Earth...!
Then
Weeps bitterly,
Her eyes
Are filled with compassion
