अब इस पर
उसकी सखी बोलती है
‘‘कथंचित् बात सच है तुम्हारी,
परन्तु
हमारे भक्षण से
अपनी ही जाति यदि
पुष्ट-सन्तुष्ट होती है।
तो...वह इष्ट है।
क्योंकि
अन्त समय में
अपनी ही जाति काम आती है।
शेष सब दर्शक रहते हैं।
दार्शनिक बन कर!
और
विजाति का क्या विश्वास ?
आज श्वास-श्वास पर ।
विश्वास का श्वास घुटता-सा
देखा जा रहा है...प्रत्यक्ष!
और सुनो।
बाहरी लिखावट-सी
भीतरी लिखावट
माल मिल जाए,
फिर कहना ही क्या!
यहाँ...तो...
“मुंह में राम
बगल में बगुला’’ छलती है।
दया का कथन निरा है।
और
दया का वतन निरा है।
Now, on hearing this,
Its helpmate says -
“Somehow it is true what you say,
But
By eating us up
If our own caste
Is nourished and gratified
Then...it is desirable,
Because,
at the ultimate hour
Our own caste proves to be of avail
The remaining others stay as onlookers
Posing themselves as philosophers !
And
How can the different caste be trustworthy ?
Today, the breath of Faith
Is seen being suffocated evidently
At every round of respiration...!
And listen !
According to the external writing
The internal inscription,
If the goods are grabbed
How pleasant of it !
Here...we do find...
‘A honey tongue
A heart of gall -
- Hypocrisy plays tricks.
The preaching of Compassion is excellent,
And
The practice of Compassion is strange -
