रस्सी से बाँध, बालटी को
धीमी गति से
नीचे उतारता है कूप में
जिससे कि
मछली आदिक
नाना जलचर जीवों का
घात होना टल सके
और
अपने आत्म-तत्त्व को
यहाँ और वहाँ
अब और तब
कर्म, कर्म-फल
सो...ना छल सके!
The triumph
Came about henceforth,
How blessed...!
Now!
The relevant function proceeds,
Each of the limbs was cultured
Hence...
Both the hands of the Artisan,
Which were disciplined
With the training of self-control,
Were filled up with restraint !
Instantly, that Artisan,
After bending up the bucket with the cord,
Drops it down into the well
With a slow motion,
So that
The destruction of
The various living organisms
Like fish etc.
Might be warded off,
And
Here or there
Now or then
Our true nature of the ‘Supreme Spirit’
Should not be cheated
By our own actions
Or...by the consequences thereof !
