लो, अब उपाश्रम में
उतारी गई माटी कि
तुरन्त
बारीक तार वाली
चालनी लाई गई
और
माटी छानी जा रही है।
स्वयं शिल्पी
चालनी का चालक है।
वह
अपनी दयावती आँखों से
नीचे उतरी
निरी माटी का
दरश करता है
भाव-सहित हो।
शुभ हाथों से
खरी माटी का
परस करता है
चाव-सहित हो।
और
तन से मन से
हरष करता है
घाव-रहित हो।
अनायास फिर
वचन-विलास होता है
उसके मुख से, कि
“ऋजुता की यह
परम दशा है
और
Lo, as the Soil is unloaded
Now, at the hermitage
When, at once,
A sieve, Woven with thin wires,
Is brought
And
The Soil is being sifted.
The Artisan himself
Is the conductor of the Sieve.
He
With his merciful eyes
Inspects
In a congenial manner
The bare Soil
Brought down there.
Extends a touch
To the purified Soil
With eagerness
Through his holy hands.
And
Being unhurt,
Feels gratified
Within his mind and body.
Then, all of a sudden,
The delightful words are
Expressed through his lips, that
“This is the Supreme state
of candidness
