जीतती, उपहास करती-सी
अनगिन फूलो की
अनगिन मालाएँ
तेरती-तेरती
तट तक...आ
समर्पित हो रही हैं
माटी के चरणों में
सरिता से प्रेषित हैं वे |
यह भी एक दुर्लभ
दर्शनीय द्रश्य है
कि
सरिता-तट में
फेन का बहाना है
दधि छलकाती है।
मंगल-जनिका
हँसमुख कलशी
हाथ में लेकर
खड़े हैं
सरिता-तट वह…
और देखो ना !
तृण-बिन्दुओं के मिष
उल्लास्वती सरिता-सी
धरती के कोमल केंद्र में
करुणा की उमडन हैं,
और
उसके अंग-अंग
एक अपूर्व पुलकन ले
डूब रहे हैं
स्वाभाविक नर्तन में !
As if mocking at it,
The countless garlands
Of innumerable flowers
Directed by the river,
On being Waved off...
Upto the river-banks,
Are being offered
At the feet of the Earth.
It, too, is a rare
Spectacular scene
That
Inside the river-shores
Under the guise of foam
The curd gets spilled about…
Those river-banks…
Are Standing
With an auspicious
Jovial jar
Into their hands !
And look here, please !
In the guise of grass-points,
Like a mirthful river
There is a gush of compassion
Amid the soft centre of the ground,
And
All her limbs
Are plunging
Into natural dancing
With a peculiar thrill of joy !
