सफेद पर सफेद
 मैंने कई बार
 उससे कहा
 कि सफेद पर सफेद से
 मत लिखा करे,
 इस तरह लिखना
 कहाँ दिखता है?
 उसका कहना है कि
 सवाल लिखने का है
 दिखने का ख्याल
 एकदम झूठा है,
 और सफेद पर 
 काला लिखना 
 ठीक भी नहीं लगता,
 सफेद पर तो 
 सफेद ही लिखा जाता है,
 तब कितना भी लिखो-
 कागज़
 सफेद रहता आता है!

White on White
