मुखौटे
 अपने बच्चों को डराने धमकाने
 हमने कुछ डरावने चेहरे
 अपने लिए
 बनवाए थे
 बच्चे कुछ दिन
 डरते रहे 
 फिर असलियत जानकर 
 हँसते रहे
 अब बच्चे 
 बड़े हो गए हैं
 हमारे चेहरे लगाकर
 हमें ही डरा रहे हैं!

 We made some scary
 Masks.
 The children were frightened
 For a while.
 When they got wise about the masks,
 They smiled.
 The children are 
 No longer small.
 They frighten us now
 Wearing our masks.
