President of India Ramnath Kovind, who will be visiting Nagpur on September 22 for various programmes, will also visit Jain pilgrimage place in Ramtek. The President will visit Shantinath Jain Mandir on the occasion of ongoing Chaurmas and seek blessings of Acharya Vidyasagar Maharaj who is camping at the temple since the past few months.

The district administration and top police officials reviewed the arrangements for the VVIP visit. Superintendent of Police Shailesh Balkawde said that the President will be accompanied by a galaxy of ministers and other high-profile dignitaries. Kovid will reach Ramtek around 10.30 am and spend 45 minutes in the temple premises. Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, and other dignitaries will accompany the President during his Ramtek visit.
